Every file
deserves its due.
62 free tools for PDFs, photos and files — merge, compress to an exact size, sign, convert, and get form-ready in seconds. Everything runs on your device. Nothing is ever uploaded.
One drop. Every step.
Most jobs take more than one tool. Case File chains them: add your files once, line up the steps, and run the whole thing in one go — on your device. Save chains as recipes, or share them as a link with your team.
Upload rejected? Not again.
Exam, job, visa and government portals want exact pixels, exact KB and the right format. These tools are built for exactly that — and your ID documents never leave your phone.
A workshop, not a warehouse.
- The tool comes to you. Opening a page loads the tool into your browser — like downloading a tiny app.
- Your file stays put. It's read and rewritten in your device's memory. There is no upload step.
- Prove it yourself. Watch the meter in the top bar stay at 0 B — or turn off Wi-Fi and keep working.

Guides

Is Thepaperwork really free?
Yes. Every live tool is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Because processing happens on your device, there are no server costs per file to pass on to you.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. PDFs and images are processed by your own browser. You can check with the privacy meter in the top bar, or switch off Wi-Fi after a page loads — the tools keep working. The only exception is the AI tools, which send extracted text (never the file) to generate a reply.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Every tool works in mobile browsers, and you can install Thepaperwork to your home screen from the browser menu to use it like an app, even offline.
What is a Case File?
A chain of tools that runs in one go — for example: phone photos → one PDF → black & white → under 200 KB. Save chains as recipes or share them as links; the link contains only settings, never files.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no limit set by us. Very large files are limited only by your device’s memory; on a typical laptop, PDFs of a few hundred pages work fine.
